Navman Reporting

A clear measure of your return on investment at your fingertips.

Navman Fleet Manager provides a comprehensive suite of reports that enable you to gain a clear understanding of how your fleet is working. This reporting provides crucial support for your decision-making, allowing you to increase productivity, improve efficiency and reduce costs.

This leads directly to the payback for Navman Fleet Manager; being able to see precisely where your return on investment is coming from. Navman Fleet Manager reports include:

Activity Report – this is a detailed activity log for each vehicle or driver. Every event related to a vehicle or driver for a given period is provided. This report allows you to accurately review the history of the vehicle or driver.

Customer Site Report – this is a comprehensive report that shows you who has been visiting sites of interest to you. You can mark customer site locations on the map. Then, using the Customer Site Report, you can identify who has been to that site, when they were there and for how long. This is invaluable for determining things such as billable time on site, how many hours your field staff are spending at certain locations, or it may indicate excessive waiting time at customer sites.

Geofence Report – this is similar to the Customer Site Report, but Geofences are fenced areas with virtual borders. You can use Geofences to mark suburbs, forests, shopping malls, intersections, airports, toll roads or any type of area that interests you. The Geofence report can then tell you when and where a vehicle has entered or left a Geofence. The report can also tell you how much time a vehicle or driver has spent inside (or outside) a Geofence and how many miles they have clocked up inside (or outside) the Geofence.

  • Idle Report – this report can tell you when, where and how long a vehicle has been idle. You as the user can define a time limit and ask the report to show you every instance in which a vehicle has been left idling for *10 minutes* for example. This can then assist you to identify unnecessary idling and fuel usage and better control your costs.
  • Mileage Report – this report details total mileage for your vehicles or drivers over time. If you run the report for every vehicle or driver for one month, the report will show you the mileage for each vehicle for each day, the total for each vehicle for the month and then the total for your entire fleet for the month. Using the mileage report, you can identify excessive mileage. This may lead to identifying unproductive route choices, excessive personal use of vehicles, inefficient dispatching of vehicles to jobs and ultimately reducing fuel usage and other costs.
  • Overspeed Report – this report allows you to identify every time a vehicle or driver was recorded traveling faster than a defined speed. The report lists the date, time and location of speeding events. This is useful in understanding exactly what kinds of peak speeds your drivers are achieving in company vehicles.
  • Stop Report – this report lists every stop that a vehicle makes over a given time period and how long the vehicle was stopped at each of those locations. Like the Customer Site Report, the Stop Report can help identify time on site, billable time and waiting time.
  • Trip Report – this is one of the most powerful Fleet Manager reports. With the Trip Report you can see when a driver started work, every trip that they made, every stop, how long they were on site and how long they were driving for, mileage and what time they finished – all in one consolidated report.

  • Speed Analysis Report – this report allows you to examine driver behaviour over time. It is different from the Overspeed Report in that the Overspeed Report identifies specific instances of speeding. The Speed Analysis Report provides a statistical representation of driving behaviour. The Speed Analysis Report allows you to see how much time a driver spends operating in different speed bands that you can define. You can also select and compare up to five different vehicles in order to easily see the differences or similarities in driving behaviour. The Speed Analysis Report can help identify patterns of persistent speeding or consistently good driving behaviour. You can benchmark drivers against each other and identify your most efficient drivers.

  • Unauthorised Event Report – this report takes advantage of a feature in Navman Fleet Manager to create unauthorised movement alerts. You can schedule periods with Navman Fleet Manager where no unauthorised activity should occur. This report is similar to the Activity Report except that it is only concerned with activity that occurs during these unauthorised activity periods. This report is used to assist in security management and highlight incidents of unauthorised vehicle use.
