24 Hour Alarm Monitoring Facilities

Why Choose Back to Base Monitoring for your Business?

Your Swintech Monitoring facility performs the very vital function of monitoring your business premises for intrusion, and other critical conditions, 24 hours a day. Why should you protect your business with a monitored security system? Because, if something happens, you'll probably need help from the police, fire brigade or emergency services. And with a monitored system from Swintech, we can alert the proper authorities in just minutes.

Communication between your Swintech security system and the Customer Monitoring Centre begins with the installation of one of our alarm control panels, security system devices, and a telephone connection device at your business premises.

Communication from your premises to the Swintech Customer Monitoring Centre works over telephone lines. So it doesn't matter where your Customer Monitoring Centre is located, the connection time is similar to what you experience when you dial your phone to place a call.

If an alarm situation occurs, such as a burglary or fire, your system is designed to communicate a "signal" to your Swintech Customer Monitoring Centre.

1. When an alarm signal occurs, it is because a specific device or sensor has been interrupted or tripped.

2. When that happens, the device is designed to communicate with the main box or control panel at your premises.

3. Once the control panel receives the signal, your system is designed to seize your telephone line and send a signal over that telephone line to your Swintech Customer Monitoring Centre. This signal is then received via computer by a Monitoring Centre operator, who will follow a procedure specific to the type of alarm signal received and your instructions on our system. What happens next may include the operator calling your home to determine if the alarm was accidentally activated, or to determine the type of assistance that you need. A pre-arranged emergency contact list for your home appears on our operator's computer screen. We will first ring your premises and designated contact number to help filter out false alarms, and then, if appropriate, we will immediately call a patrol, the Police or Fire Brigade.

4. Swintech’s Monitoring Centre Operators will notify proper authorities, and the individuals on your emergency contact list so that they can get in touch with you.

At Swintech we offer a range of back to base monitoring facilities and packages for the security & safety of your premises. All of these solutions are in place 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, maintained by dedicated highly trained staff.
